Job Title: Health, Safety & Environmental Manager Reports to: Operations Manager Job Description Zeeco has an opening for an HSE Manager position located at the headquarters facility in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. The HSE Manager is responsible for the implementation of the organization's HSE strategy, ensuring compliance with all internal policies, external regulatory requirements, and ensuring all employees have a safe and healthy work environment. Job Duties Manages all programs within the HSE Management System and maintains accurate data in accordance with applicable record retention requirements. Implement and maintain all company HSE documents adhering to local, state and federal environmental, health and safety regulations. Manages compliance of HSE training programs content, and delivery of training. Develops and executes safety and environmental programs to ensure practical, cost-effective measures are in place. Provides support to internal and external customers, and other remote locations (field service, global locations). Leads safety and/or environmental audits, inspects facilities to ensure a safe working environment, and compliance with the HSE Management System. Maintain a positive and proactive HSE culture through interaction with personnel and area leadership to ensure safe work practices. Leads or assists with the investigation of incidents and injuries, including root cause analysis and tracking of action item completion. Establishes and manages relationship with occupational medical providers Ensures medical case management practices and communicated, implemented, and followed for work related injuries and reasonable accommodations are made to mitigate aggravation of any non-work-related injuries. Works closely with Human Resources on any worker's compensation cases. Perform, track, and/or facilitate all applicable HSE related inspections. Aid in determining practical and cost-effective control measures for identified hazards. Manage financial budget for the HSE department. Compile and analyze global HSE statistics and incident reports. Issue monthly reports to management. Some occasional travel may be required. Ability to provide support after hours as needed. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications A Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Health & Safety Management, or related field required. Eight years of experience directly in the field of Health, Safety, and Environmental. Three years of relevant experience in a manufacturing / fabrication environment. Advanced understanding of OSHA, EPA and DEQ regulations and permitting requirements. Excellent organizational, leadership and motivational skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; attention to detail. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Working knowledge of ISO systems. Ability to prioritize and multi-task. Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen. Successful candidates possess proven self-initiative; a positive, willing and contributory attitude; passion and conviction for continuous improvement; excellent customer service; leadership; and are independent thinkers-offering new ideas and creativeness. Other qualities include outside-the-box-thinking, the ability to work very efficiently under little guidance in a fast-paced environment, intrinsic motivation, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work successfully with others.
