We are looking for a results driven, skilled and seasoned technician who can perform a variety of general maintenance and repair work on residential single and multi-family properties. The maintenance technician is responsible for identifying and correcting problems involving the properties and handling all phases of task relating to the completion of work orders. WHAT YOU WILL DO: Showing care and concern for our residents through excellence in service ticket resolution and preventative maintenance. Resolving maintenance issues in light electrical & plumbing, carpentry, and appliance repair. HVAC is a plus. Preparing vacant apartments for move-in through turn-over repairs and improvements. Work with the maintenance coordinators and field inspectors as needed to determine additional repairs as needed. Providing residents with outstanding customer service. Rarely on-call for after-hour emergencies (as scheduled)with some limited weekends or evenings. WHAT YOU WILL NEED: Experience in building maintenance or education in the trades. Beginner to intermediate proficiency in plumbing, electrical, drywall, and carpentry. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Basic computer skills and comfort using various software and apps. A service mentality and a thirst for learning. High school diploma or equivalent Ability to provide basic hand and power tools Ability to lift 50+ pounds WORK SCHEDULE FOR A RESIDENTIAL CONSTRUCTION SUPERINTENDENT This full-time position typically works 40 - 50 hours each week between the hours of 8:00 am - 5:30 pm Monday - Friday .
