Location: Nationwide FLSA Status: Exempt PRIMARY PURPOSE: Housby is looking for a National Used Parts Manager to oversee all partnering locations for the Used Parts sector of Housby, throughout the United States. This individual will be primarily responsible for overseeing the inventory and production of Used Parts with all locations outside of the Des Moines, IA region. FOCUS : Essential Duties include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Oversee the day-to-day operations for Used Parts facilities outside of the Des Moines location. Work with Inventory Control Manager to ensure a wide range of parts are kept at strategic locations throughout the United States. Oversee and manage a team of National Used Parts Sales Representatives that are responsible for traveling throughout the United States to promote sales, and ensure goals and objectives are being met. Oversee and manage key accounts for Used Parts. Work with the Territory Coordinators to manage Housby's partnerships for Used Parts on a National level and ensure that teardown goals of units are being met. Oversee all Used Parts inventory for partnering locations outside of Des Moines, IA to ensure compliance and accuracy with established program. Conduct annual inventory counts for audit purposes at all partnering Used Parts locations. Visit key partnering locations a minimum of once per month. Ensure that all orders outside of Des Moines are handled with accuracy and timeliness. Unearth new sales opportunities through networking and turn them into long-term partnerships. Create and maintain relationships with vendors in strategic areas to ensure desired margins. As needed, provide information to customers on products, policies, programs, and inventory. Expected to follow the Company's safety rules and safety policies. Maintain a professional image at all times. SKILLS & EXPERIENCE : Accuracy and high attention to detail. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Strong math skills. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide using whole numbers. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages. Valid driver's license and dependable transportation. Ability to travel up to 75% of the time. Strong computer skills highly desired. Ability to manage a team of 5+ direct reports at multiple locations throughout the United States. Experience in heavy duty truck parts highly preferred, but not required. Experience in business-to-business partnerships/collaborations highly preferred. EDUCATION : High School Diploma or GED Associates or Bachelor's degree in a business-related field highly preferred. PHYSICAL DEMANDS : Oral communication over the phone and in person. Ability to view a computer monitor. Sitting for extended periods of time. Alpha/numeric keyboarding. Ability to travel by plane or vehicle for extended hours of time. WORK ENVIRONMENT : The work environment for this position is varied due to the differences in our work site. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, toxins, and outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud. COMPENSATION: Competitive Salary (Based on Experience) 120 Hours of PTO after your first full year of employment.
