Title: Registrar Work Study Assistant Department/Division & Office Location: Registrar's Office - DS 120 & 123 Job Purpose: The Registrar Work Study Assistant is here to help the Registrar's and Registration office staff with day-to- day activities. They will help with clerical duties, confidential filing, and other office projects. Duties & Responsibilities: Greet visitors to the office in a professional and friendly manner including; students, faculty and staff File confidential paper work Attention to detail in alphabetically filing folders and student forms Assisting in retention management for current/former students' records Maintain shredding confidential documents for Registrar and Registration Office Assist in posting departmental chair meet notification around campus Deliver paperwork to other administrative offices Organize supply cabinet and records room Copy materials for staff members Provide coverage to front reception desk at times of need. This includes greeting visitors in a friendly manner and directing them to the appropriate person to assist them. Sort and distribute incoming mail to appropriate people in the office Assist supervisors in any special projects throughout the year, especially during peak times of year Qualifications: Ability to maintain confidentiality Professionalism in greeting students, faculty, and staff Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task Hours Needed: Anytime between 8:30 am thru 4:30 pm Monday - Friday. Additional Comments: Ideally we would like the students to schedule their times opposite of one another so we have full coverage throughout the day.
