Shifts: Sunday-Saturday, days, preferably 12-hour shifts 7a-7p; The determination of the daily and weekly work schedules shall be made by the PHO. Pay depends on experience - the base starting at $14.55 This position reports to the Director of Acute Care Services and is responsible for Certified Nurse Aide duties on the Med/Surg unit. Administer treatment and personal care procedures to patients including, but not limited to, feeding, bathing, shaving, changing clothing, cleaning and trimming fingernails, bed-making, assisting with ambulation, skin care, and bowel and bladder elimination; provide such additional care as required to meet the personal needs and comfort of assigned patients. Perform a variety of selected patient care tasks under the direction of an RN/LPN to assist medical and nursing personnel in the examination, treatment and care of patients. Obtain and record patient data for medical records noting any significant changes in the patient's condition. Clean assigned area; stock and replenish supplies and equipment as required.
