Come grow with our Savannah, Ga Division as we are looking to add an Estimator to our team The ideal candidate will completely develop detailed cost estimates and proposals for heavy civil construction projects. Candidates must be a team player, detail oriented and a problem solver. Experience with and proficiency in the following: Microsoft Office, B2W estimating software or equivalent, Agtek takeoff software, Primavera P6, AutoCAD, Google Earth, and Bluebeam Responsibilities include: Attend pre-bid meetings Bid package review (Plans, Specifications, CAD, Geotechnical Report, etc.) Detailed quantity takeoff and summary (Earthwork, Utilities, and Paving) Communication with clients for bid requirements Bid file document control Vendor and Subcontractor solicitation and quote review Develop and complete estimates for projects Work with clients on preliminary project budgets Maintain existing and develop new client relationships Pre-construction budgeting and turnover Assist with training of junior level estimators Some travel, including overnight required ( Education and Experience: minimum of 5 years of related experience in civil estimating and/or project management Bachelor's degree in civil or mining engineering, construction management, or a related field preferred Associate degree in drafting, CAD Operator, or CAD Technician, or a related field
