Position Description Position Summary: We are looking for a periodontist to be responsible for gum-related treatments and procedures. The responsibilities of a periodontist include performing surgical procedures, diagnosing and treating conditions, and establishing treatment programs to monitor oral health. To be successful as a periodontist, you should demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, possess manual dexterity, and be up-to-date with the latest treatment methods and development. Ultimately, a top-notch periodontist should possess physical stamina, problem-solving skills, and be detail-orientated. General Duties & Responsibilities: Administer general and local anesthetics. Providing implants. Performing cosmetic surgical procedures. Diagnosing and treating conditions. Developing treatment plans. Providing preventative treatment. Resolving gum issues such as gum sensitivity. Dentrix a plus ! Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Benefits: 401(k) matching Medical, Dental, Vision insurance Liability insurance for full-time employees Paid time off Education & Experience: Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) from an accredited dental program by the Commission on Dental Accreditation License to practice as a periodontist. Leadership skills. Problem-solving skills. Good communication skills. Current CPR certification a plus Physical Demands: Ability to be physically mobile (stand, walk, reach, climb, bend) and also the ability to stand for prolonged periods throughout the day/work hours when needed Manual dexterity sufficient to operate medical equipment, keyboard, copier, telephone, and the ability to write/type Must be able to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds occasionally *Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions.
