Southside Christian School is currently seeking an Elementary School teacher for the 2023-2024 school year. An elementary teaching degree is required. Experience with biblical integration is also essential. The Elementary School teacher must be able to manage a classroom effectively, teach with excellence, and be able to create an engaging, relational, and joy-filled learning environment with young students. The applicant must demonstrate excellence in planning, differentiated instruction, teamwork, and communication. We expect teachers who are willing to be creative, have a strong work ethic, can think "outside the box," and are able to work effectively as part of a team. The applicant must be able to obtain ACSI certification. Southside Christian School is a Christ-centered institution, located in Greenville South Carolina, with a desire to partner with Christian parents in providing an excellent education consistent with biblical truth. Qualified candidates desiring to join the faculty at SCS will give testimony of being a evangelical, protestant born-again believer in Jesus Christ with a passion to serve Him in Christian education. Candidates must agree with the school's philosophies, Statement of Faith, and Statement of Christian Life Commitment, while being committed to the mission, goals, and objectives of SCS. Qualified candidates will understand the need to develop a biblical worldview in students by creating an excellent, engaging, relational, biblically integrated, and joy filled learning environment. Candidates will have a strong work ethic and desire to work effectively as part of the elementary school faculty. Further, applicants must have a commitment to the mission, philosophy, goals, and objectives of Christian schooling, by enrolling their eligible children in Southside Christian School.
