A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN ASSISTANT BAKER As an Assistant Baker, you provide crucial support to our head baker and kitchen manager. Working alongside our more experienced baker, you prepare delicious pastries and baked goods for our bakery display. You measure and mix ingredients, paying attention to detail so that you produce consistent dough and batter every time. Then, you form pastries in the appropriate shape and bake them fresh for that day's service. You also prepare large batches ahead of time so that we always have what we need. In addition to preparing baked goods, you keep our kitchen clean and help stock all the necessary ingredients and supplies. As you hone your baking skills, you take on more responsibility and learn more challenging techniques. Your satisfaction comes from working with an incredible team and creating delicious food for our customers! QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN ASSISTANT BAKER 6+ months of baking experience Ability to follow recipes accurately Formal bakery education is preferred but not required! Are you a team player? Do you pay attention to detail? Can you prioritize cleanliness and quality while working efficiently and meeting deadlines? Do you remain calm in fast-paced environments?
