Description:
Substance Use and Court Services Manager Sign-on Bonus: $3,000 Location: Punta Gorda, FL Type: Full-time Position Summary Develops and maintains oversight for the programs; including personnel and budget management. Facilitate collaboration between criminal justice and behavioral health systems with the goal of diverting individuals from the criminal justice system into treatment. Work to identify and address unique needs of patients and require intensive treatment and community supervision. Maintains an active caseload. Ensure program meets all internal and external standards. Provide clinical assessments and other services for patients, including development of treatment plans with measurable objectives. Provide individual and group counseling, dependent on the needs of the patients, with the following goals in mind: Assist with rebuilding relationships with family and friends, Assist in identifying or developing support systems, Assist with identification and implementation of skills to reduce risk of relapse. Provides supplementary and/or temporary clinical and supervisory coverage to other departments, as assigned. Provides licensure supervision to up to three (3) registered interns, if qualified and assigned. Minimum Requirements Master's or doctoral degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, or other related field. FL License as a Psychologist, Clinical Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist, or Mental Health Counselor required. Minimum of five (5) years' experience in a clinical setting. Minimum of two (2) years' experience in a management role. Knowledge of the FL Marchman Act. Must maintain high standards of ethical and professional conduct, while adhering to agency policies and procedures. Ability to use a computer and learn the electronic medical record (EMR). Attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, in collaboration with other community partners. Ability to manage stressful situations and display appropriate work demeanor and boundaries. Ability to demonstrate excellent customer service. Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to pass a level II Background clearance and drug test. Valid FL drivers' license, insurance, and safe driving record.
