SEASONAL CEMETERY WORKER CLOSING DATE: Open Until Filled PAY RATE: $13.39/Hour SCHEDULE: To Be Determined DEPARTMENT: Cemetery JOB SUMMARY Performs a variety of duties related to the maintenance of: Cemetery Grounds maintenance Irrigation Systems Light and heavy equipment operating Great attitude and able to communicate with citizens in a respectable manner. RESPONSIBLITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS Experience in caring for grounds with a wide range of skills. Including but not limited to general landscaping and lawn maintenance and irrigation work. Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds. Ability to communicate. Ability to learn to operate and maintain maintenance equipment such as mowers, chain saws, pruning equipment, and hand tools. Ability to develop effective working relationships with supervisor, co-workers and the public. Must pass a back ground and drug test. Must be 16 years old or older (Preference will be given to applicants 18 and older with a valid driver's license). *** If some of these qualifications are lacking, we are still interested if you are a hard worker that is willing to learn and be an effective member of the cemetery team.
