Get to know us a little better by visiting us at www.SGAmarketing.com DUTIES SGA is looking for a writer to work on a full time basis and be responsible for writing, editing and supporting the development of new business proposals. Under direction of SGA's Program Managers, this position will be required to create or edit new portions of content in response to request for proposals. Experience with subject matter related to marketing is a plus. In addition, experience in writing proposals for government contracts is also useful. QUALIFICATIONS Effectively writing new business proposals requires a variety of skills, including: Detail oriented with the ability to keep track of deadlines, copy edits and requests made in the proposals; Timely with Deadlines to be able to work under very tight timelines Strong Writing Skills to be able to pull together large amounts of content into one cohesive proposal Strategic Thinker who can develop a vision for the overall strategy to use when approaching the proposal Organized to effectively be able to keep track of a lot of moving pieces that are inevitably present when compiling a proposal Experience in new business proposal writing and pitching is not required, but definitely a plus!
