Infant Teacher Responsibilities: Guiding babies and infants through their day Thinking on their feet and successfully taking notes of every child. Showing a patient and relaxed character Contributing positively to children's attitudes and social contact. Reporting children's injuries and sickness Maintain close contact with parents during the day through HiMama Typical Responsibilities: Although the teachings differ, teachers for infants mainly consider teaching children to interact and connect. They also help to develop language and vocabulary. Such Day-to-day Tasks can include: Teaching basic abilities like color, form, numbers, and identification of letters Curriculum preparation and executing Promoting the invention of desires and improving social skills Creation of plans and routines to ensure good rest and playtime Observing, reviewing, and recording the abilities, actions, progress, and development of every designated child Meeting with parents Optimization of the developmental, emotional, and social successes of the infants Build and lead a positive, caring atmosphere for learning that promotes transparency and motivation Infant Teacher Job Description The development of infants in any capacity is one of the most challenging and fulfilling occupations in the world. With the physical, emotional, and language production of kids, an infant teacher plays a big role. As a part of the first learning procedure for a toddler, an infant teacher not only offers educational assistance but also provides an environment that an infant needs. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Salary: From $20.00 per hour Schedule: 4 hour shift 8 hour shift After school Monday to Friday Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred) Experience: Early Childhood General Education Teachers: 1 year (Preferred) License/Certification: CPR Certification (Preferred) Early Childhood Education License (Preferred) Applicant must be willing to work 40 hours a week. Possess a strong love for children and must want to be a part of a strong team. Must be able to organize a classroom schedule and environment. Strong communicator with staff and families is a must. Must be at least 21 years of age and meet one of the following sets of requirements for education and experience. At least nine months of work experience or one practicum must be with infants and toddlers. High school diploma or equivalent; and 12 credits in at least four categories of study except Child Care Administration including three credits in Child Growth and Development and three credits in Infant and Toddler Care. EEC Certification a must.
