FlynnO'Hara Uniforms is the Philadelphia-based supplier and retailer of high-quality school uniforms, gym wear, and medical attire. We have been family owned-and-operated since 1972! We are seeking part-time/full-time, experienced Embroidery Machine Operator for our Philadelphia, PA distribution center. Responsibilities include the operation of embroidery machinery, hoop garments, trim, and folds goods. The role is critical to helping the company quickly fulfill orders for custom school uniforms - particularly during the busy back-to-school season. We operate both single and multi-head Barudan embroidery machines. We are a midsized family-owned business offering a flexible, friendly working environment as well as medical, dental and 401K benefits. We are looking for proactive self-starters with a positive attitude and willingness to learn! Pay rate is $15.00 Specific Job Requirements * Highly detail-oriented with a team-first mentality* Flexible and positive attitude a must! Additional Job Requirements * Experience as an embroidery machine operator a plus.* Experience with Barudan machines a plus.* Ability to stand for several hours at a time.* Ability to thread a needle.* Ability to visually differentiate between thread colors and styles.* Must be able to work daytime and/or evening shifts, and occasionally overtime hours during peak back-to-school season (August & September) Schedule * Flexibility available* Standard Shift hours - Monday - Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM* Some mandatory Satuday hours during peak season.
