A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A LEAD CUSTOMER SERVICE REP - RETAIL CLERK In this position, you are responsible for ensuring that our operations run smoothly when a senior-level manager is not present. You assist with all customer service, product availability, safety, shift management, and vendor care tasks. A good leader, you manage our team, making sure that our employees are completing their jobs properly. You're a people person who greets our customers cheerfully and ensures they have a great shopping experience. Additionally, you help our management team come up with ways to improve the store. Attentive to detail, you ensure that we have the right cash levels and that transactions are accurate. As needed, you assist with restocking and housekeeping tasks. With you running the store, our success is a guarantee! QUALIFICATIONS FOR A LEAD CUSTOMER SERVICE REP - RETAIL CLERK 2+ years of experience working in a gas station or convenience store 18+ years of age Leadership skills Customer service skills Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. Reliable transportation Management experience in a fast-paced retail or food service environment is preferred. Do you work well independently and as part of a team? Are you self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision? Can you direct tasks? Are you analytical and a good problem solver? Can you communicate effectively?
