Intern-Engineering & Construction Department Chelsea, MA The MWRA Engineering & Construction Department has openings for a summer internship and the job duties include: Sorting and classifying contract documents, shop and engineering drawings Data entry of scanned engineering plans Scanning plans and drawings Assisting with other document control services The preferred candidate will be enrolled in a college degree program and be familiar with engineering drawings, document cataloging and/or records management systems. Requirements: Ability to work in a professional business office setting Ability to learn and use facility information software The ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Assist in records management of engineering documents, particularly drawings Scan documents and drawings and perform quality control review Sort and classify engineering and construction documents and photos Perform related duties as required Other Information: Work Location: MWRA, 2 Griffin Way, Chelsea, MA Work Schedule: Monday Friday 8:00AM to 4:00PM Internship duration: May - August How to Apply: Apply online at: https://mwra.applicantpro.com/jobs/ Massachusetts Water Resources Authority (MWRA) is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
