About George Junior Republic: Established in 1909, George Junior Republic is dedicated to helping at-risk youth become successful, well-adjusted adults, capable of achieving a higher degree of citizenship, and a better understanding of his responsibility to society, his family and himself. Position Overview: We are looking for part time contracted lifeguards for the summer of 2023. The lifeguard will be responsible for ensuring all safety protocols and rules are being followed during the youth's scheduled activity time at the swimming pool. The safety and supervision of the youth while at the swimming pool is the main concern for this position. Responsibilities: Supervise youth during the scheduled activity time Ensure all youth are following safety protocols Maintain a proper count of youth at all times Requirements: At least 21 years of age A current lifeguard certification * George Junior Republic and Affiliates is an equal opportunity employer.
