Job Summary: VectorCSP is seeking an Engineering Technologist to join our Test team of diverse engineers, technologists, and military veterans. This position is in Mount Laurel, NJ. The qualified candidate will provide Engineering and Technical support to the Test & Evaluation (T&E) Division head at the Aegis Technical Representative (AEGIS TECHREP). Education and Experience : HS - BS in Computer Science 0-9 years of experience depending on education level USN/AEGIS experience preferred. Systems engineering experience preferred. S. Military experience Test and Evaluation experience Experience and / or recent qualifications directly related to routine systems integration testing of computer programs or software development efforts. Essential Duties: Support of the TECHREP customer in various technical aspects involving the integration of the AEGIS Weapon System with Ballistic Missile Defense functionality in an AEGIS Combat System environment. Customer support with test program implementation, execution, analysis, and report out in support of government computer program certification decisions. Interpret AEGIS system level specifications into testable requirements at the routine level Develop the test approach and detailed procedures to test those requirements, validate the detailed test methods, execute the formal test, and collect relevant test data. Perform and/or witness system level integration of computer programs, collect relevant data, analyze test results, document equipment failures, track problem resolutions, and reporting findings. Knowledge, S kill and Abilities : Ability to apply knowledge of the AEGIS Weapon System & the integrated Ballistic Missile Defense capabilities in a test program designed to verify government acceptance requirements were met by the system developer.
