Position Summary: The Industrial Asset Product Manager Airbus North America is responsible for: All IM functional and technical related activities for Industrial Assets for all Airbus Commercial (US, Canada), Airbus Helicopters (US, Canada) business functions dealing with: Follow the Strategic alignment of IM strategy and roadmap for Industrial Assets Design and implement best practices for Plant Maintenance Activities in North America Region (US / Canada) in line with Airbus overall standards as defined in Europe or in the frame of the IM Region. Promote and deploy state of the art digital solutions in the Industrial Assets portfolio in line with AIRBUS Operating Model and Standards. Key Missions: Industrial Assets Product Manager has the functional and technical responsibility of the product scope end-to-end (Design / Build / Run). Responsible for supporting multifunctional teams related to the IT Product/Application related to Industrial Asset Management Aim continuous improvement functional and technical of all products and services within the Industrial Asset Management, in all aspects (financial, user experience, efficiency, effectiveness, simplification, technical performance, cyber security, resilience, obsolescence etc.) and across the full application lifecycle (design, build, run). Acts as a technical and functional resource on behalf of business stakeholders to ensure his/her function's services & products meet his/her business priorities and needs. Represents his/her function and promotes its vision, value, services, and capabilities. The Industrial Solutions Asset Manager is enabling a functional and technical relay between on one hand the strategic decisions and commitments taken at IM Leadership Team and Business counterpart(s) and on the other hand the execution of these decisions and commitments at product level teams, the heart of IM value creation and delivery. Responsible for the roll-out of Group IM-supported processes, programs, information systems for The Industrial Solutions Asset Management Accountabilities: Leads the functional and technical IT Product/Application MFT business team for the A320 and A220 programs in order to manage the IT Product/Application lifecycle, both developing the products and operating them to meet operational SLA's for the Industrial Asset Management Responsible for Continuous Release Management for the Industrial Asset Management Solutions Proposes with the IM Product Managers and Business Process Owners for the entire Industrial Asset Management a convergence/decommissioning plan of the related products. Target being to reduce the technical debt, leveraging the standards and new technical solutions coming from IM. This will also be done in close relationship with the Business to assess impacts (Training, adoption efforts, renegotiated SLA/ RC) Fosters innovation in the Industrial Asset Management and ensures a pipeline of innovative features and technologies is maintained to feed roadmap evolutions. Leads the Industrial Asset Management design authority (architecture choices; technical standards) in close collaboration with IM Enterprise Architects Establish and nurture close and productive relationships with Peers and Business leaders to create a well-balanced, transparent, prioritized backlog of both transformational and business continuity objectives. Participate actively in the IM & Business collective portfolio governance to ensure value driven investments prioritized at company level. Contribute to the portfolio management on his/her perimeter: manage allocation of business continuity and run budget envelopes to the PSL/Products and ensure respect of budget envelope. Provide single points of contact for his/her counterpart(s) in the Functions, aligned to the level of seniority of the audience. Follow policies, standards and guidelines related to transverse governance are strictly applied in their perimeter. This position has functional and technical responsibility for the Industrial Asset Management located in the various Airbus North America Region to deliver the projects and services to the business: Mobile FAL, Mirabel FAL & Plant, Grand Prairie, Columbus, Fort-Erie. This position is end-to-end accountable in front of all the Customers of the services on functional and technical aspect delivered by the Industrial Asset Management Primary Responsibilities: [Planning & Budgeting]: 10% Works with IM Governance and Others IM Domains/PSL/Product & Services to identify opportunities in the IM Master Plan Collaborates with group and divisional counterparts to understand and align support requirements for Industrial Asset Management where possible Works with IM Governance to identify and capture (operational and project) license cost elements and others Recurrent Costs in the IM budget Collaborates related budget performance Identify room for improvement and activate his/her function proactively Identify first area of savings [Projects]: 60% Functional and technical responsible for Industrial Asset Management Follow the strategic vision alignment between his/her function and the Business Manage projects that are in the scope of the Industrial Asset Management by using appropriate methodology (waterfall, fast track, agile) Partners with the business and others IM Domains/PSL/Products & Services to ensure proper design and implementation of Industrial Assets solutions in the frame of local, division wide or group wide initiatives Ensure that projects are delivering the appropriate business value (savings, efficiency, business growth, ..) Perform other duties as assigned [Application Development, Maintenance and Support]: 20% Responsible for designing, developing, deploying and supporting local applications fulfilling local business needs Responsible for deploying and supporting Industry applications that are centrally developed in Europe within the mother companies Responsible for guaranteeing end-to-end of services according to agreed SLAs established with the business Liaise with the business and IM teams back in Europe to contribute to the design/development of solutions and prepare the deployment and support of those solutions Liaise and synchronize with different IM Domains teams to ensure smooth deployment and appropriate level of performance of the end to end services Organize and plan deployment activities with the support of the related staff Additional Responsibilities: Other duties as assigned: 10% Collaborates with global Airbus IM Operations solutions counterparts to develop and improve standards Ensures compliance with Airbus IM Operations solutions standards, security standards & evolving cyber security requirements Qualified Experience / Skills / Training: Education: Degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or an equivalent combination of education and experience Experience: At least 5-10 years of experience in application development and support in the manufacturing environment At least 5-10 years of Project Management experience in the manufacturing environment Understanding of Airbus IM standards, project and services methodologies and procedures Knowledge of IT Industrial Solutions landscape in North America is a plus Knowledge, Skills, Demonstrated Capabilities: Knowledge in the Industry area: Manufacturing, Assembly, Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics & Quality Knowledge in software solutions such as SAP (MM/PM module), Click n'Buy, AirSupply, Analytics solutions/Reporting tools (Skywise) Experience in working with multicultural teams Ability to adapt in a changing environment Able to work closely and effectively with all levels of business and IM management Recognizes, and focuses on, high priority objectives Is accountable for results Inspires trust, demonstrates flexibility, encourages frequent open communications and welcomes feedback Communication Skills (Spoken, Written, Influencing, Proficiency in Other Languages): Strong communication (oral and written), interpersonal , and facilitation skills Fluency in English is mandatory, French highly recommended and due to Airbus European roots, German or Spanish language skills are a plus Technical Systems Proficiency: SAP (MM/PM module) Industrial Network (Knowledge) Analytics solutions/Reporting tools (Skywise) Maximo as a plus Travel Required: 10% both Domestic & International.
