Position Summary The Medical Assistant supports the flow of patient care by providing excellent patient relations. The Medical Assistant will be responsible for greeting patients and checking out patients. What you will be doing Provide general patient care services, including taking patient's vital information, specimen collections, intake registration forms, and conversing with patients to complete records Scheduling appointments and follow-ups Answering/fielding patient phone calls in a courteous and professional manner and oversee and ensure efficient turnover of patient rooms Receive payments from patients for services rendered Checking patients in and out What you will bring to the team 2 years' experience in the medical field required, and gastroenterology experience preferred.
