Driver: Job Purpose/Function: Driver is responsible for providing transportation services for staff andclients in a safe, customer-friendly manner. Driver is also responsible for ensuring agencyvehicle is maintained in accordance with regulatory standards. DUTIES Major Duties and Responsibilities:1.Transportationa.Transport clients and staff to and from various destinations in a safe and timely mannerb.Transport program and agency supplies including mail and documents between agency programs2.Safetya.Assure the maintenance and service of assigned vehicle is completed as expectedb.Maintain compliance with regulatory standardsc.Ensure vehicle is equipped with safety equipmentd.Inform maintenance and supervisory staff of potential safety issues or hazardse.Be aware of universal precautions3.Customer Servicea.Assists in creating a friendly, welcoming environmentb.Maintains a safe environment for employees, visitors and clientsc.Assume responsibility for all other activities as assigned by the Operations Manager QUALIFICATIONS Education and Experience Required:High School Diploma or equivalent preferredValid driver's licenseStrong oral and presentation skills in order to properly represent the agency when in the community
