The Role The ERP & Enterprise Business Applications manager's role and responsibility is to ensure the company's ERP operation within the IT department is in alignment with the business objectives of the organization. This Manager will plan, coordinate, direct and design IT-related activities of the organization for the ERP and Enterprise business applications IT function with and through a global team of direct reports. This individual will work closely with decision makers in other departments to identify, recommend, develop, implement and/or support cost-effective technology solutions within our ERP system for all aspects of the organization. The Manager will also define and implement IT policies, procedures and best practices. What You Will Do Lead IT ERP/Non-ERP operations strategic planning, including fostering innovation, integrations such as CPQ, eCommerce, planning projects and organizing and negotiating the allocation of resources. Manage a global team of AX/Dynamics 365 analysts and lead the ERP Implementation for the enterprise. Responsible for identifying, selecting, Designing & Architecting, implementing, and managing third party integrated solutions for shipping, warehouse management, CRM, Product configuration, etc. Oversee development of ERP and non-ERP integrated educational material and programs. Work with business representatives (BPOs) to manage customer requirements and expectations, including prioritizing small, medium, and large scale system implementation or enhancement requests. (Must be able to distinguish user interface request from underlying true needs) Partner with the business to identify areas of opportunity, collaborate on solutions and implement within the business to drive efficiencies and improvements within the ERP platform. Participate on the ERP Steering Committee Participate with M&A team to develop and execute business systems and operational integration plans. Build project plans and schedules for approved initiatives. Partner with other IS groups to ensure that approved initiatives are delivered on time within budget. Provide periodic status updates to senior management Drive SOX Audits and Compliance The Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Business Administration or related discipline, required 8+ years working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 and D365 with proven experience in Accounting / Finance (AR/AP/GL,Cash), Purchasing Ledger, Sales Ledger, Project Accounting and CRM modules 5+ years of management experience in a complex business environment involving multiple business / product lines and done at least 1 ERP deployment. International and publicly traded company, preferred Strong knowledge and ability to effectively use business modeling techniques such as: Process, workflow modeling and use cases Demonstrated business systems planning analysis skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills, interpersonal and relationship management skills Demonstrated experience in business process development and improvement Experience in IT Management Frameworks such as ITIL, COBIT, etc...
