We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Early Head Start Preschool Center Aide to join our team at our Hoopes Early Head Start location in I daho Falls . As a Center Aide, you will assist the lead teacher in providing a fun and engaging learning experience for young learners birth to age three. Responsibilities: Work closely with the lead teacher to plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum and activities. Provide a safe and nurturing environment for the children. Prepare materials and set up learning centers. Engage children in educational play and other activities. Assist with mealtimes and promote healthy eating habits Keep the classroom clean, organized and attractive. Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and other professional development activities Requirements : High school diploma or Equivalency Degree (GED) and The ability to obtain the Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential with EICAP's guidance within 12 months of hire (EICAP covers all costs) Preferred experience working with children 0 - 3 years. Must pass a Health and Welfare Enhanced Background Check Must pass a Tuberculosis (TB) screening and physical exam. The ability to become CPR and First Aid certified through EICAP's training program. Compensation: The Early Head Start Preschool Center Aide position is a full-time, hourly position. Health Insurance, 100% Employer paid, for employee. EICAP pays 60% of dependent health and dental premiums.
