We are seeking a team oriented, dynamic and motivated individual to join our accounting team. This is a new position and is evolving. If you are looking to take your career to the next level, this is the right opportunity for you. This position will report to the Controller and will be part of a team that includes four project accountants. Currently, the Assistant Controller will be responsible for all non-project related accounting functions and payroll. Other responsibilities include: Reconciliation of bank and credit card statements Assist with month-end and year-end financial closeout process, including the annual audit Process and file 1099s Process credit applications Corporate registrations and licensing Prepare and file sales/use tax returns Assist with annual insurance audit
