Position Summary: Responsible to schedule and coordinate the work flow within or between departments of manufacturing based on order demand. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Reviews master production allocation daily and schedules chain through the necessary processes based on customer orders and demand Puts together daily schedules for the HT/PT area, Paint, Plating and SB areas and reviews with employees daily Distributes work orders to lead person of assembly with proposed completion date and units to be produced. Reviews customer orders daily and assigns ship dates based on the availability of chain and components Liaison between the Maryville facility and sales to answer inquiries and expedites Assists with outside processing to make sure items go out on time as well as entering the labor for these items and coordination with purchasing to get the appropriate lead time Researching and allocating parts that we are short and coordinating with purchasing to get the appropriate lead time Answer questions and address issues from the floor Adjusts Form & Weld as required by customers' orders and communicating changes to supervisors Core Competencies: Problem Solving skills Technical skills Customer Service Interpersonal Skills Communication Skills-Oral and Written Ability to work as a team or individually Good work ethic-efficient, effective, accurate, organized, conscientious, dependability, punctual, etc... Meets Company standards (i.e. goals and objectives, production quotas, project deadlines, etc...) and with high quality Adaptability-changes in the work environment, production demands, priorities, methods, direction, etc... Takes initiative Innovative/Resourceful Education: High School Diploma or GED or equivalent work experience Required Qualifications: Must be proficient with computers, specifically Microsoft Outlook and Excel Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with internal and external contacts or various levels Previous experience with Epicor or other ERP system is preferred Must be process-oriented, but willing to take on a variety of tasks Strong organizational skills with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously At least 2 years of experience working in an office position, preferably in a manufacturing environment Previous scheduling experience would be beneficial Physical Demands/Work Environment: Must be able to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach overhead, or crawl Must be able to lift 25lbs, at times may be asked to lift more Environment is climate controlled; however, will need to go on the production floor frequently and that is not climate-controlled Production floor is typically loud Must wear required PPE and follow dress code standards, especially when going out on the production floor Occasional travel for training and/or to our other facilities as needed
