Job Summary: The Army SERE program Safety Coordinator overseas the Safety and Occupational Health Program for Contractor personnel and will act as liaison with the Government Safety Officer to ensure all Army and unit-level safety-training requirements for Contractor employees are fulfilled. This position is contingent on the award of a government contract. Responsibilities: Manages the establishment, implementation, and maintenance of the SERE School safety program. Oversee all procedures necessary to be in accordance with United States Army Aviation Center of Excellence (U SAACE) and Fort Rucker's Safety Coordinate and supervise elements of the safety program to ensure US Army SERE School safety objectives and standards are met. Required Skills and Experience: US Citizen DoD SECRET clearance. Three (3) or more years of documented and verifiably [successful] experience managing a safety program comparable to the SERE School program. Desired Skills and Experience: Graduate of a DoD full spectrum SERE - C course including Wartime, Peacetime Governmental Detention (PDG) and Hostage Detention (HD) training. Training may be from a singular course or multiple courses as long as training in all skillsets has been completed Previous teaching/instructor experience at a DoD SERE Level C School. Previous experience managing mission support functions at the US Army SERE school. Prior military service in Army Aviation or a SOF occupational specialty Required Background Check: Secret Clearance; comprehensive employment background screening.
