Lifeguard Cape Cod's only double Forbes Five-Star resort is seeking lifeguards for its waterfront pool. This role is responsible for the safety of our guests in and around the pool. It requires that all safety protocols are adhered to and that the pool area is always maintained and organized. This position requires attentiveness to our guests and a pleasant and accommodating demeanor. The lifeguard's duties include: Supervising all activity in the pool and ensuring that policies, guidelines, and safety procedures are followed Warning swimmers of improper activities or danger and enforcing pool regulations and water safety policies Administering first aid in the event of injury Rescuing swimmers in distress or danger of drowning Administering CPR and/or artificial respiration if necessary Instructing or assisting classes in fundamentals of swimming as needed Lifeguard certification is required. Experience at a luxury resort is preferred. The individual would be an integral part of the recreation team. Wequassett Resort and Golf Club is an exquisite 27-acre resort on beautiful Pleasant Bay.
