Position Summary: The Quality Assurance Manager ensures that the organization's Quality Management System (QMS) conforms to customer, internal, applicable ISO, and regulatory/legal requirements. The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for overseeing inspection and examination of incoming materials, making sure requirements are met. The Quality Assurance Manager evaluates and reports on vendor quality systems and evaluates and manages the disposition of non-conforming material in conjunction with Engineering and Materials personnel. The Quality Assurance Manager works closely with Program Management, Operations, and Engineering to identify problems, investigate causes and recommend/implement solutions that improve product quality and production efficiency. The Quality Assurance Manager focuses on identifying trends that adversely affect the quality of products, driving timely and sustainable improvements through the effective application of problem-solving methodologies and tools.
