Doane University, a nationally recognized liberal arts and sciences university in Crete, NE, invites applications for the position of Graduate Assistant - Men's Golf Coach . We are looking for a coach who understands that they are continually on display and consistently projects positive coaching behavior. As the GA Men's Golf Coach, you will assist in coaching a team of 15-25 golfers in practice and competitions. This position is responsible for student athlete recruitment and retention and is an integral part of the Doane University Men's Golf coaching staff. Qualifications/Skills/Abilities Required for Position: Prior college coaching experience preferred. Ability to cooperate and work within a coaching staff and ability to work with and teach young people. Ability to recruit and retain student athletes. Working knowledge of Golf Genius and Golfstat or willingness to learn upon starting the position. Education/Training Required for Position: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required. Acceptance into a Doane graduate program. Playing or coaching experience at the collegiate or professional level. Compensation & Benefits: Tuition waiver up to $5,250 per year Health and dental Insurance available Annual stipend Licenses and Certifications Required for Position: Valid driver's license and driving record acceptable to the college's automobile insurance provider.
