Description:
The YMCA of Northwest Florida is looking for a Literacy/YReads Site Coordinator! The Site Coordinator is directly responsible for supervision, coordination, volunteer recruitment, retention and training of our YMCA Summer Literacy/STEAM program and our YREADS! tutoring program at Elementary Schools located throughout Pensacola, Florida during the school year. Individual must possess a Bachelor's degree, preferably in the area of education and/or literacy and be able to pass a Level 2 background screening. YReads is a reading program that uses curriculum-based literacy instruction to help struggling readers in areas of phonetics, sight word recognition, spelling, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension.
