We are a high-volume Seafood Restaurant that prides itself on providing excellent fresh Seafood and great customer service. We are seeking a positive, energetic person who loves to work in customer service. We need a passionate Dining Room Manager that will ensure our guests receive the best dining experience possible. You will be responsible for ensuring the dining room is ready for meal service and motivating staff to be attentive and friendly throughout their shift. When necessary, you will also need to resolve any issues customers may have with the food or their experience. Duties also include to monitor service, expenses and monitor labor by reviewing hourly labor summary reports and other accounting records.DINING ROOM MANAGER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Examine the dining room before each meal service and ensure it is ready with all the necessary supplies Manage service staff and encourage top-notch customer service Resolve customer complaints Knowledge of Word and Excel computer programs Cash handling / balance reports Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays Excellent communication and organizational skills Scheduling Restaurant and Employee Safety Knowledge and experience with front of house operations Physical Setting: Bar Casual dining restaurant Fine dining restaurant Banquets Schedule: 8 - 10 hour shift Day Shift Evening Shift Every Weekend Holidays Experience: Dining Room Management: 2 years (REQUIRED) Supervising Employees: 2 years (REQUIRED) License / Certification: Responsible Beverage Service Certificate (REQUIRED)
