Participate in the hiring, training, quality assurance and performance evaluation systems within the PCA program and work with assigned PCA staff to ensure that all PCA Staff, new and experienced, receive adequate training and support to perform basic job functions in a competent and professional manner. This position will also act as a Liaison between AgeSpan, Tempus Unlimited, Inc, MassHealth (EOHHS) and Managed Care Programs in various capacities. Essential Functions : (Core duties or tasks that is fundamental and not marginal to performance of the job) Programmatic: Work with the PCA Program Manager to act as a Liaison between AgeSpan, Tempus Unlimited, Inc, and Mass Health (EOHHS) to ensure that the agency complies with all terms of the of EOHHS PCA requirements, respond to all inquiries and coordinate requests from EOHHS. Cooperate in EOHHS fraud detection. Participate in the agency performance evaluation with EOHHS. Receive PCA consumer complaints and consult with the PCA Program Manager to resolve any grievances or concerns. As a member of the PCA Leadership Team, work closely with the PCA Program Manager and PCA QA Reviewer to develop and implement new Quality Assurance initiatives. Assist in maintaining existing Quality Assurance systems in PCA and Managed Care Programs including performance audits as needed. Manage requested PCMA transfers for PCA consumers. Assist PCA staff in completing transition plans for PCA consumers. Direct Service Staff: Directly supervise PCA Administrative staff to ensure compliance and efficient workflows of the PCA program. Participate in new staff hiring and orientation processes for the PCA program. Provide weekly one-on-one Coaching to review for accuracy and compliance with Mass Health, Managed Care Programs, and AgeSpan standards. Monitor progress, provide supervision, and ensure proper training occurs for new Administrative staff and existing Administrative staff. Maintain open communication regarding Administrative staff with PCA Program Manager. In coordination and approval of the PCA Program Manager, complete annual performance evaluation for PCA administrative staff including auditing of work, summarizing team feedback, completing Manager's summary, setting goals, assessing merit increases and conducting evaluation meeting with employee. Participate in Progressive Discipline process as needed. Miscellaneous: Participate in rotation of PCA Person of the Day (POD) coverage as needed. Participates in coverage of the PCA Program when PCA Program Manager is unavailable. Qualifications: BA/BS in Human Services or related field, LSW preferred (or actively pursuing), and minimum of 2 years' experience in direct service (such as, comprehensive knowledge of Mass Health/ASAP/Managed Care systems and programs, PCA software, SAMS and/or Managed Care databases) required. Competence with Microsoft products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required. Supervisory experience preferred. Knowledge and experience in the following areas is strongly preferred: quality assurance; supervision; training. Excellent organizational and time management skills, strong detail orientation; leadership qualities, written and verbal communication and presentation skills are strongly preferred.
