Experience: more than 5 years Skill Level: Great motor and listening skills Read and understand blue prints with little to no assistance Possess the ability to use basic math Possess the physical capabilities required for commercial roofing which includes lifting (up to 80 lbs.) stooping, bending, material handling, 40 foot ladder climbing, awareness of height exposure and the capacity to work in adverse weather conditions Learn and gain skill in working to meet the GSM Standards for roofing installation Responsible for organizing and placement of job-site materials Must possess proper use and maintenance of roof equipment Experienced heat welder Must determine all equipment is in safe working order, report the condition of the equipment to RoofShield Division Leader Must maintain appropriate housekeeping standards at both the job-site and the GSM Services facilities Manage overall job-site production and ensure the work conforms to the standards and application quality set by GSM Services for installation of roofing materials Carry out all directions given by the RoofShield Division Leader as it relates to job-site production Effectively manage all personnel working directly under the Team Leader's supervision Plan and organize effectively during each job, including, but not limited to, tracking the use of on-job materials, extra materials, additional labor to be posted, material postings and material returns Attend and participate in required plan of attack (POA) meetings Perform monthly tool and material inventory on truck Participate in annual performance review of crew members Must be able to use ESC scheduling software and be able to create quotes and invoices with little to no supervision Other duties as assigned Requirements: Maintain a valid driver's license and a safe driving record Must complete a minimum of 6 hours of continuing education per year pertaining to the roofing industry Perform disciplinary duties of all crew members Participate in all interviews for new crew members Participate in terminating coworkers that do not meet GSM Standards Continued education with ESC Software as updates occurs Must easily perform all duties with no supervision AWP (Aerial Work Platforms) Certification Neatness, uniforms per company standards Punctuality, attendance and attitude must be exceptional Work to promote a positive work environment with all coworkers Follow all directions given by the immediate leader (RoofShield Division Leader) Can read and write English to a high school level Must have all tools Other duties as assigned Leadership Level: Can manage one to five crew members with little to no assistance Understand and maintain GSM Services standards, policies, and procedures Responsible and accountable for the following: Knowledge improvement Self-improvement in performance Crew improvement Truck cleanliness Truck inventory Truck tools Understanding and demonstrating all use of PPE Manage one to five crew members or more as needed and multiple job sites Understand and maintain GSM Services standards, policies, and procedures Responsibilities: Maintain the overall standards of quality, performance and courtesy set forth by GSM Services and its leadership team. Provide Comfort & Peace of Mind to our customers and co-workers. Responsible for wearing proper uniforms and maintaining personal appearance to GSM Services standards. Maintain attendance in accordance with GSM Services Attendance Policy Responsible for daily time records, ensuring it is accurate and approved by leader Comply with all GSM Services safety regulations Maintain all tools and equipment in proper working condition Work each day to the Sundown Rule Possess the ability to read and write English to High School level Additional duties as assigned: Working conditions: Exposure to weather conditions, able to handle working in extreme heat/cold Work may include rooftops, basements, crawlspaces, mechanical rooms, ceilings, attics, etc. Able to set up, climb and take down ladders GSM Services is ready to hear from you and help you get started with a great career.
