MDW is currently seeking a Public Affairs Analyst to support our F-35 Joint Strike Fighter customer in Arlington, VA. Note that this position requires candidates be located within reasonable proximity to Arlington and/or Crystal City, VA in order to support the JPO customer with on-site meetings and other in-person requirements. The Public Affairs Analyst will be responsible for the following duties: Assists with the generation and coordination of internal and external communication products as a member of the Strategic Communications Cell (SCC) under the purview of the Office the Chief Strategy Officer (OCSO) Develops internal and external communications products that are connected, consistent, timely, and impactful for the purpose of informing Program global stakeholders and our geographically, professionally, and culturally diverse workforce Provides analysis and recommendations to other members of the OCSO and output/messaging standardization suppo1t to members of the F-35 JPO, consistent with OCSO guidance and Strategic Communications Business Rules (SCBR) Required Skills/Experience: 10+ years of overall related experience required with specific experience in DoD or corporate communications, public affairs, and/or strategic communications. Work products should have included long- and short-form narrative, graphical, digital, or other relevant media Relevant experience in public affairs and/or strategic communications in a fast-paced, international, technically complex, and defense-related environment; this work should have focused on stakeholder or employee communications regarding technical issues, financial issues, emergent events, program milestones, staff achievements, awards, and topics of personal and professional interest-related to the organization with work samples available for review Exceptional writing, listening, planning, critical thinking, project management and problem-solving skills Proven ability to convey highly complex information in a clear, concise, and compelling fashion with work samples available for review Experience with defense acquisition and FMS Ability to handle competing priorities in a high-pressure environment without losing sight of the strategic intent Education Requirements: Master's Degree in Business, Management, or related discipline or a bachelor's degree plus 4 years additional related work experience (total of 14+ years) Clearance Requirements: Candidates for this position must currently possess a US DoD Secret security clearance or higher Active Top Secret clearance preferred Company Description Incorporated in 2012, MDW is a small business headquartered in Washington, DC with employees in various locations in the United States.
