Hendrick Screen The individual who functions in this position will be responsible for the Quality Management System at Hendrick Screen. The position will also be responsible for the following: troubleshooting, maintain and repair mechanical, electrical, and programmable logic controllers for production equipment, perform preventative maintenance and electrical/mechanical upgrades as required. Focus on reduction in Cost of Quality, maintain ISO certification, and maintain continual equipment improvement. Troubleshooting equipment failures. AC/DC Troubleshooting DC motors troubleshooting and AC motors and controls troubleshooting. Starter circuit and transformer wiring and troubleshooting. Knowledge of Encoders and Servos, Limit switches, photo eyes, and proximity sensors, electrical terminations, and use of electrical termination devices. Maintain and repair mechanical, electrical, and programmable logic controllers for production equipment. Perform preventative maintenance on equipment. Perform electrical and mechanical upgrades as required. Layout, fit and assemble parts when necessary. ISO Quality Management Daily compliance walks Monthly Compliance audits Yearly certification Education: BS Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Tech or Technical degree with 8-10 years of relevant experience. Experience: 5+ years in an industrial environment. 5+ years leading ISO 9001 plant quality management system. Skills Required: Ability to troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical control systems. Ability to read blueprints, electrical diagrams, and ladder logic prints. Familiarity with 480v 3phase AC Ability to read a ruler, set calipers, and micrometer. Ability to operate hand and power tools, gauges and precision measuring devise. Ability to operate a forklift, powered transport, and material handling equipment. Ability to build, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain programmable logic controller systems. Ability to program, upgrade, and install PLC systems. Strong oral and written communications. Good mathematical computational skills. Good computer skills with hands on knowledge of word processing, spread sheet, and database programs. Skills Desired: Ability to remain Interactive and hands on and shop floor focused. Industrial maintenance and electrical experience in heavy manufacturing, metal and mining industry preferred.
