Job Summary: Revenue Manager oversees revenue for Rentyl Resorts with particularemphasis on specific properties. A key member of the leadership team, thisposition works closely with the Corporate VP of Revenue Management,Directors of Marketing, General Managers and Operations Managers, andSales Teams for the properties. ESSENTIALRESPONSIBILITIES: Analyze short and long-term forecasting, analyze trends in groupinventories & rates to include occupancy, goals, product line andstrategic sales goals.• Dynamically change rates, restrictions and availability based onpick-up and production patterns.• Analyze and monitor marketing channels, key and other accountproduction. Ensure that all major channels of distributioneffectively support the hotel and maintain rate parity.• Update all channels of distribution as needed with rate or inventoryrestrictions.• Assist with Marketing promotion rate and package builds, bookinglinks, rate descriptions.• Assist with add on package items and availability in all systems.• Blocking properties to maintain straight-line availability, ensureneed homes are booked and availability is updated in all systems.• Training revenue, call center, wholesale and sales teams on ratebuilds, strategies, and reservations software.• Writing and training teams on SOPs.• Build and maintain Excel and One Note sheets for resorts, revenueand call center teams.• Work with each department to develop property-specific strategiesto ensure growth.• Establish appropriate goals and benchmarks in order to effectivelymeasure performance.• Explore and provide variations in market mix which would stimulateadditional revenue without increasing costs.• Responsible for the maintenance of any software programs whichcontribute to the management of revenue including Synxis, Opera,RMS and Delphi.• Assist with implementation of Revenue Management basics andstandards.• Foster a culture of Revenue Management throughout alldepartments of the hotel.• Develop and implement succession planning for RevenueManagement talent. REQUIREMENTS Competencies, skills, attributes, experience, licenses, certifications, required) • Excellent oral and written communication skills.• Excellent organization skills.• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.• Proficient in property management and revenue managementsystems use and development.• Proficient at statistical and competitive analysis.• Individual is high energy individual with a positive attitude is a must.Guest service and team oriented.• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to clearly communicate withpartners, team members and senior leadership.• Ability to effectively analyze and use operational, financial, andmarketing data to maintain and improve market share/penetrationgoals.• Ability to move quickly and adjust strategies based on trends, marketdemand and property needs.• Understanding of hotel operations and can associate with theirneeds through the revenue department.• Ability to work well under deadline pressure.• Ability to develop and deliver effective presentations.• Ability to quickly adapt to a constantly changing market.• Bachelor's degree required, preferably in business or analytics.• Minimum of 3 years' experience in hotels/resorts with minimum of1 year in Revenue Management.• Previous hospitality experience required PREFERREDcompetencies &qualifications • Independent hotel background is preferred.
