RN Supervisor Shift: All shifts Status: Full Time Evenings, PT or per diem all shifts on weekends; evenings or nights weekdays; 12 hours shifts available Department: Nursing Role Responsibilities: Oversees all nursing concerns including assessments of resident concerns. Using 24-hour Condition Sheets as minimum information makes rounds on each floor to ascertain condition of residents, oversee nursing care and identify problems. Analyzes workload for the shift, prioritizes and divides tasks equitably and fairly between shift supervisors. Is a support to staff to maintain and provide care based on NYS Regulatory Guidelines. Qualified RN Supervisor candidates will have: Graduate of a State approved school of nursing. Has current license as Registered Nurse in New York State. At least one year's experience in Long Term Care supervisory capacity. Must have demonstrated administrative ability to deal with required nursing functions. Must be able to communicate verbal and written instructions to all levels of staff.
