DMG is a regional, independent sales agency for premier HVAC equipment representing engineered products designed and customized to meet our customer's specific needs. Located in Orange, California we're growing and looking for talented, dedicated people to join our Team. We currently have an opportunity for a Building Automation Programmer in our DMG Service & Controls Division (DMG SC). Some travel is required to jobsites located throughout DMG's territory. Duties to include, but not limited to: Design control circuit logic, programming and graphics for front end dashboards and signage . Verify all software operation and troubleshoot as needed. Provide job onsite assistance with testing and technical support to clients and project managers. Interface with customer IT departments for control system connectivity. Interpret project requirements from write-up, scope, specs, system functional capabilities and direct communication with sales engineer or customer. Education Mechanical Engineering Degree preferred, but not required Building automation certificate or equal job experience. Experience Proficient with programming and integrations. Interest in technology and programming. Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications. Skills & Talents Customer service driven. Detailed knowledge of electrical components and electrical theory, including troubleshooting and repair. Solid communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to maintain project schedules and ensure successful completion. Thrive in a fast paced, multi-task environment.
