Position Summary The Assistant Professor in Biology supports the Master of Science in Natural Sciences and undergraduate programs, including those in Biology, Agriculture, Nursing, Education, and various pre-professional programs. Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities Teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in Biology and research in Biology. All duties pertinent to teaching, including curriculum development, mentoring, advising, participating in program assessment and review, and maintaining office hours. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ability to work with a diverse student and faculty body. Ability to work with a diverse range of student preparation in the classroom. Education and Experience Ph.D. in Biology, Cell & Molecular Biology, or a related area is required. Post-doctoral experience is a plus. Prior teaching experience is strongly desired.
