Description:
Ohio Dominican University's Division of Mathematics, Computer and Natural Sciences seeks an Assistant/Associate Professor of Computer Science for a fulltime, tenure-track position beginning August 2023, and if available, beginning as early as January 2023. The successful candidate will possess a Master of Computer Science degree or a related field from an accredited institution by the time of hire; and demonstrate excellence in teaching, potential for scholarship, as well as the capability of developing and teaching in an online environment. Experience in teaching and/or developing cybersecurity and/or information technology courses/program is a bonus. Additional responsibilities include maintaining a student research program; development of courses to support the program; advising; and service to the department and related program areas, the division, the University, and the community. The successful candidate will be innovative in preparing students for internships and employment opportunities. An ability to engage with the wider community outside of the university in order to grow enrollment is desirable.
