Job Goal: A Press Operator requires skills such as reading schematics, basic manufacturing math, quality control and technical/ mechanical skills. This position performs typical press operations to support the production floor. Duties and Responsibilities: Complete setup and breakdown of molds with little to no supervision. Run the press with little to no supervision. Trim parts in accordance with technical drawings. Read job travelers and interpret technical drawings to determine press setup. Complete production records using a computer format to maintain cost, efficiencies, inventory and integrity. Ensure proper cleanliness of press, workstation, and immediate press area by following good housekeeping practices. Position Type and Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position. Press operators must be available for overtime and work weekends when necessary.
