The Position: We are looking for a candidate who will serve as an on-site Level III Classification Analyst for a DoD client's security and program protection team. Responsible for supporting implementation of the Classification Management and Security Reviews IAW DoD requirements. Must be capable of working in a team environment. Must have proficiency with Microsoft Office products. The Description: Draft classification guidance memorandums. Draft memoranda and associated staffing documentation for task response packages. Assist in the development and staffing of Agency Security Classification Guides to validate proper format, identify horizontal classification issues, and evaluate security classification issues. Draft responses to Classification Challenges. Draft responses to Classification Determinations. Update Original Classification Authority training, as required. Coordinate with Information Security and the MDA CERT for reported network spills. Maintain metrics and produce monthly and annual task metric reports. Update task database and file system folders. The successful candidate will have the education and experience below: Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree relevant to the Security/CI fields is preferred. 8+ years working on missile defense or other complex, large DoD program/projects. Ability to analyze and resolve problems. SECRET Clearance with potential to achieve Top Secret with SCI eligibility. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with DoD security procedures Experience with Microsoft Access Excellent oral and written communication skills Excellent office software skills The Working Environment: The physical environment requires the employee to work on-site at the government program office, sitting in a cubicle or at a desk, looking at a computer for most of the workday. The employee may be required to walk short distances to offices/conference rooms and buildings on site. On some occasions, the employee may be required to drive to offices or buildings near the work site. In rare occasions, travel may be required.
