Star Stone is looking for a Saw Shop Foreman with the split role of production and supervision of the entire crew. Experience with stone is highly preferred. The foreman actively works with the team as a whole to ensure maximum productivity. This is a base plus commission job. You will earn a 10% Production Bonus Profit Share Quarterly. Candidates with a background in diesel mechanics, mechanical ability, or equipment repair or machining, are encouraged to apply. No es necesario que hable inglés. Hire, mentor and train saw techs and general laborers in their respective duties. Track Saw Shop productivity of individuals and as a whole. Log employee training and certifications. Keep production in line with the sales needs. Ensure employees are following all safety measures and regulations. Be capable of using computer software for record keeping. Plan strategically, and propose creative ideas to enhance productivity. Manage a budget and spend responsibly. You would also be eligible for a total benefits package amounting to as much as $7,000 more in annual income. This includes: $2,400 Healthy Living Bonus Matching 401K 6 Paid Holidays Cell Phone Plan Tuition Reimbursement The Saw Shop Foreman is entirely capable of all duties within the Saw Shop, including in all of the following equipment: Operate the 100" Gantry Saw, including programming. Able to not only maintain, but repair all Saw Shop equipment. Keep the shop running: As necessary, for example, you'll order parts for equipment, re-tip saw blades, and maintain inventory.
