Description:
Automation Engineer Secret Clearance or Interim Secret clearance is required for this position. Redan LLC, Automation Engineer will be responsible for developing and executing automated test scripts to validate functional, technical, and performance requirements. The Automation Engineer will work closely with developers, shared services team, and product managers to define the automated testing components that will be used to validate requirements against developed software. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Java development, experience with open-source automation tools such as Selenium/Serenity/Cucumber, and experience with REST/SOAP web services and APIs. What You'll Be Doing As the Automation Engineer at Redan, you will: Develop automated test scripts to validate functional, technical, and performance requirements Work closely with developers, shared services team, and product managers to define the automated testing components that will be used to validate requirements against developed software Work with team members to drive test automation techniques Develop using Java and execute automated tests on both Web Front end and micro service architecture Run test validations at various levels including DB validation, rules validation, logging validation, reporting validations, and UI validation Assist with Scrum Team estimation of stories and sizing of effort to include the representation of the test automation and engagement with Continuous Integration (CI) required Contribute to an atmosphere of cross-functional teamwork within the organizations' Agile project lifecycle Profile of Success Bachelor's degree Minimum 2 years of hands-on automated test coding experience using Java (or development experience with C++ or C#). Experience with Continuous Integration (CI) / Continuous Delivery (CD); Behavior Driven Development (Cucumber); Java (including frameworks such as Spring and Spring boot); and open-source automation tools such as Selenium/Serenity/Cucumber. Experience with Serenity and/or Cucumber. Experience with Functional Testing, Integration Testing, System Testing, and User Acceptance Testing phases. Experience with REST/SOAP web services and APIs. Hands-on experience in Open-Source Automated Test Frameworks (e.g., Serenity, Selenium, Cucumber). Experience using Java development tools (e.g., Eclipse, JUnit, Git). Prior experience with front-end development including JavaScript frameworks. Experience in a large-scale Federal IT Program. Experience with SAFe Agile delivery framework. Active Secret Level Security Clearance preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to obtain Government Secret Security Clearance Required Secret Clearance or Interim Secret clearance is required for this position. Our IDEAL Automation Engineer Will Have: Hands-on experience in Open-Source Automated Test Frameworks (e.g. Serenity, Selenium, Cucumber) Experience using Java development tools (e.g., Eclipse, JUnit, Git) Prior experience with front-end development including JavaScript frameworks Experience in a large-scale Federal IT Program Experience with SAFe Agile delivery framework Conditions of Employment US Citizenship is required Bachelor's Degree required 2 years hands-on experience with automated test coding using Java (or development experience with C++ or C#) Candidates must be willing to work onsite as required by the client (currently 2x every 2 weeks, on a rotational schedule by the team) Compensation Pay and benefits information for this position will be provided to interested candidates that apply.
