A DAY IN THE LIFE OF SENIOR EXCAVATION TECHNICIAN In this senior excavator position, you will report to the Director of Operations and work within a team led by the Excavation Project Leader. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including the installation of utilities, earthmoving site grading, and installation of road base. You enjoy prepping the area for curbs, sidewalks, and gutters. You play a crucial role in creating a foundation for excavation and backfill, handling erosion control, and installing bollards and floor subbase. With each new day comes a different task to complete, prompting you to use your quick thinking as well as your experience, skills, and knowledge in the excavation field. You ensure customer satisfaction by maintaining our high quality control standards. Our customers know they can trust us with each project due to your helpful attitude and ability to build strong relationships. In this excavator position, you are never bored and love being able to stay out of an office! SENIOR EXCAVATION TECHNICIAN QUALIFICATIONS 3+ years of excavation experience Heavy equipment operation experience Ability to perform the physical demands of the position Valid driver's license Construction, computer, and mechanical experience as well as a CDL driver's license would be ideal!
