Hendrick Screen The individual who functions in this position must carry out all of the functions associated with being a Plant Manager. This position encompasses responsibility for providing leadership necessary to implement the plans and policies established by the corporation. This position interfaces with all departments in the organization and may require significant customer contact. To quality as a Plant Manager an individual must be able to perform all of the following: Oversee all phases of plant operations including personnel. Maintains a union free work environment by creating an employee-centered work place that demonstrates care and concern for all employees Produce quality product while maintaining acceptable manufacturing costs and on time delivery, within the planned manufacturing budget. Participate in Long-Range planning, assists in annual budgets including capital expenditures and implement corporate fiscal objectives. Maintain high level of customer satisfaction, sensitivity and communicate this philosophy throughout the organization. Foster good employee relations by providing leadership and motivation and conduct regular plant meetings with all employees in two way communication. Maintain equipment and building in a good state of repair. Maintain a superior level of housekeeping and safety practices throughout the building in compliance with corporate objectives and governmental requirements. Responsible for all aspects of the ISO 9001 program. To act as the main point of contact on all items associated with ISO. Perform other duties and assignments as required including those when reassigned or transferred and regardless of whether duties are related to his/her normal duties. Education: A college degree in Business, Engineering or other job related curriculum or equivalent work experience. Skills: Requires strong mathematical computational skills. Requires the ability to handle various priorities simultaneously. Strong Analytical skills, strong managerial skills with good communication, both oral and written. Mechanical attitude and the ability to read blueprints. Should have the ability to demonstrate the highest level of honesty, integrity and respect for people. Experience: 5-10 years in a related position.
