Tucanos is currently hiring for a part-time and full-time Host / Guest Services to warmly greet customers, guide them to their tables, and handle any other questions or concerns they may have in the Salt Lake City, UT area. This restaurant position earns a competitive wage of $14 - $16/hour . DAY-TO-DAY As a Host / Guest Services, you are an important team member for us because you are constantly helping our guests and servers! You warmly greet guests, guide guests to their table, and communicate with management on the flow of the restaurant. You also answer phones and handle any guest inquiries or questions that way. You are the first person guests see when they enter our doors, but you are also the last person to bid farewell when they are leaving. With your upbeat and friendly attitude, you facilitate a great environment and set the tone for a guest's dining experience. You assist with any wait times, manage special seating requests, and communicate unique guest needs. Some other responsibilities include interacting with vendors on the phone and assisting with the duties of servers, bussers, and other team members as needed.
