Front Range Geriatric Medicine is searching for a full time physician to provide care to residents within the Columbine Health Systems' skilled nursing and assisted living facilities. Hours and Benefits: Flexible hours Monday-Friday Floating to buildings is required at times On-call requirement Columbine Health Systems offers a full range of benefits including PTO Medical Dental Vision 401K Free healthcare clinics Discounts from our pharmacy and medical equipment stores Reimbursement for license renewals, continuing education, liability insurance, and travel. Starting wage: $230,000 per year Responsibilities: Appropriate evaluation upon admission and discharge Coordination of care with family and care team Discussion of End of Life preferences Scheduled visits for management of chronic illness and acute visits as needed Skills & Requirements: Current and unrestricted MD or DO license to practice medicine in Colorado Board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine, Geriatric subspecialty preferred. Current DEA certificate. Prior nursing home experience preferred Excellent fund of knowledge with respect to the practice of medicine Commitment to service excellence and patient satisfaction Ability to speak with patients and assess health needs in a compassionate manner Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills Comfort with use of EMR and HIPAA compliant communication Wound certified or experience preferred.
