Position Summary: The Postproduction Manager oversees and manages activity and inventory in the post-production areas of the facility. The Postproduction Manager responsibilities include giving instructions for handling each harvest batch, reporting on harvest performance and production costs, fulfilling the requirements of the cannabis tracking system, and scheduling post production employees. The Postproduction Manager handles all of the project management that is required to maintain throughput of harvesting, trimming, and processing trimmed cannabis material into packaged cannabis project that is ready for distribution. This is a vital role that ties together the cultivation and distribution of the products that are offered for consumption. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities include the following, and other related duties as assigned. Performing administrative work relating to cannabis products and cannabis materials including fulfilling requirements of the cannabis tracking system, recording harvest performance, daily progress, and production costs for every harvest batch. Maintaining professional relationships with testing facilities, and scheduling testing for state compliance as well as in house R&D. Managing and supervising Postproduction employees, including training post production employees Maintaining inventory of the post production building, including cannabis materials, cannabis products, and the necessary supplies and equipment needed to perform daily activities. Communicating with cultivation team on harvest schedules, and defining workflow for cannabis material for the post production team. Setting up the climate in in the drying rooms, and monitoring the cannabis materials throughout the drying process in order to ensure the company produces an end product that is compliant with it's standards of quality. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Excellent management and supervisory skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with a focus on Microsoft Excel or similar software. Knowledgeable on Florida cannabis laws and regulations. Required Education/Experience: High school diploma or equivalent Five years or more of experience in cannabis cultivation. Two years or more of professional leadership experience. Experience with seed to sale cannabis tracking systems.
