Controls Engineer

Description:
As a Controls Engineer you'll work with other teams throughout the customer project including project management, mechanical engineering, design, and assembly. First, you'll create flow charts and other documents at the start of the project for customer approval. Then, once the machine is built, you'll start setting up and commissioning devices, testing and debugging the program, make improvements and go onsite for installation, and run offs. You may need to train operators on the operation and maintenance of the machine at the customer facility. Must Haves: Automated industry or controls programming experience; preferably in automated or robotic machinery PLC programming experience with Allen Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi and/or ProFace. Strong skills in prioritizing time and resources, communication, handling multiple projects, troubleshooting A self-starter and self-motivated who is a team player and thrives in a fast paced and changing work environment Valid driver's license Good to Have: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering Python and structured text experience, understand machine building practices Experience in CAD drafting Solid experience in the programming of serial and network communication interfaces.
